"The Golden Age on the Silver Screen" Coming to the Scarsdale Library

A series of films focusing on the themes of aging in film will begin on Friday, May 5, at 1:45 p.m., with the showing of the 1981 film "On Golden Pond" at the Scarsdale Public Library. The film stars Henry Fonda, Jane Fonda and Katherine Hepburn.
Dr. Steven Hyler, professor emeritus of psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center, and a Scarsdale resident, will lead a discussion on how perspectives have changed since the film was released.

Future films in the series are "Driving Miss Daisy" on June 9 and "About Schmidt" on July 28.
