Agreed, when the $1.1M house has taxes of $26,700 and the $4.5M house has taxes of $35,500 something is wrong!
The revaluation in Scarsdale should make the real estate market get VERY interesting.

Local real estate agents better warn their customers that homes in Scarsdale may be reassessed in a few years. The buyers of at least two of the properties you've identified are likely to receive BIG increases in their property tax bills...and their real estate agents are likely to hear about it.
