Agree with comment on taxes... Both have similarly valued homes---why such a gap in tax levels? Because many of these "older" homes have tax bases that are too low...

Lets start by the Village looking at EVERY open permit and making the homeowners close them (rather than closing them when they are ready to sell... effectively paying less than their fair share for years, but making the new homeowner get marked to market -- forced by the need to have your C/Os in order for any closing)...

Compare low taxes on 10 Rochambeau with the high taxes on 7 Park which are $13,500 higher even though the sales price on 7 Park was $100k lower. Outrageous.
