Sunday Morning Adult Softball

Players are invited to join an adult softball game which has been played for decades. Players 16 and older, male or female, are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings at Crossway Field #2 in Scarsdale for games which start shortly thereafter following a brief warm up and determination of our “pick-up” teams. We finish no later than noon, which is when our field permit expires. Games are friendly but competitive. Season runs from Sunday, April 20 through October. Violinist Michelle Ross, cellist Caleb van der Swaagh, and pianist Han Chen will join forces on May 18 at 3:00 PM at the Scarsdale Congregational Church to present a concert of piano trio music. The program, anchored by the beloved Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor by Felix Mendelssohn, will also feature works by Franz Schubert and Lili Boulanger. Come enjoy these chamber music gems from the Romantic era and hear the performers showcase their individual artistry.
