2026 Bicycle Sundays! Since 1974\, Westchester County reside nts have been enjoying the popular Bicycle Sundays program. It opens a 6.5 -mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway to bicyclists\, skaters\ , joggers\, and walkers on a series of Sundays throughout the warmer weath er months each year. Bicycle Sundays is one of Westchester’s longest-runni ng and popular recreational programs.

Bic ycle Sundays is presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by Wes tchester Parks Foundation and its partners\, through generous donations fr om co-presenting sponsors NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester and Con Edison\ , with Danny’s Cycles as the official Bicycle Sponsor.
\nDuring Bicy cle Sundays\, the parkway is open exclusively to non-motorized bicyclists\ , scooters and in-line skaters\, e-bike class 1 only\, plus walkers and jo ggers. Many points of entry and exit are along the way. from Exit 22 at th e Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. The ro und-trip distance is 13 miles. The road is closed to automobiles in that s tretch of parkway. Admission is free and free parking will be available in the East Lot at the Westchester County Center.
