2026 Bicycle Sundays! Since 1974\, Westchester County residents have been enjoying the popular Bicycle Sundays program. It opens a 6.5-mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway to bicyclists\, skaters\, joggers\, and walkers on a series of Sun days throughout the warmer weather months each year. Bicycle Sundays is on e of Westchester’s longest-running and popular recreational programs.

During Bicycle Sundays\, the parkway is open exclus ively to non-motorized bicyclists\, scooters and in-line skaters\, e-bike class 1 only\, plus walkers and joggers. Many points of entry and exit are along the way. from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. The round-trip distance is 13 miles. The road is closed to automobiles in that stretch of parkway. Admission is free and free parking will be available in the East Lot at the Westchester County Center.

We'll be joined by members of the New York County Lawyers Association to discuss the nature of First Amendment rights and their legal implementation in a lively presentation of recent r eal-life cases. You'll hear plaintiff and defendant arguments and the judi cial decisions that followed. Moreover\, you'll engage with thought-provok ing questions and have the chance to weigh in and offer your opinions afte r discussing the cases and the larger issues in small groups.
