Freedom of Speech and Due Process

Tue. 29 Sep, 2026 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

ConstitutionFreedom of Speech and Due Process are two of the fundamental rights of Americans, with an enormous amount of case law accompanying it. Learn some of the deeper nuances and challenge your assumptions of these cherished rights. We'll be joined by members of the New York County Lawyers Association to discuss the nature of First Amendment rights and their legal implementation in a lively presentation of recent real-life cases. You'll hear plaintiff and defendant arguments and the judicial decisions that followed.
