FASNY nurtures creative, open-minded, critical thinkers to become lifelong learners motivated to lead, contribute and thrive in an ever-changing world. We focus on the learning and well-being of our students in an academically rigorous, multicultural, bilingual setting that brings together the best of American, French and International education.
We value an inclusive community where everyone is seen, heard and feels respected.
We are responsible and accountable for our Guiding Statements & FASNY Fundamentals. We take responsibility for our actions, and we act with honesty, fairness, and compassion even in the face of challenges.
We care about others, and we take care of others; we put ourselves in other’s shoes, try to feel what they feel to better understand them, and accept/welcome their identity and differences
SharkBots team members Justin Gingrich ’26 and Denis Boudaliez ’26, along with former FASNY teammate Vincent Revise, competed at the FIRST World Championships in Houston last week! They were among 256 teams from 66 countries who qualified out of 8,800 since the season began in September 2024.
Last week, twenty-four of our high school students, ranging from grade 9-11, spent four intense days in Rochester, NY, to compete in the 2025 FBLA State Leadership Conference.
Congratulations to our Middle School students on a wonderful chorus performance last night. This year’s performance was especially meaningful, as the students selected much of the repertoire, creating a program that reflected their voices, tastes, and creativity. Bravo to all of our amazing singers and their teacher, Ms. Weiss! #WeloveFASNY
Our 4th graders have been diving into the fascinating world of the Renaissance, exploring the art, science, and innovation that defined the era. This week, their studies culminated in a research project, with each student focusing on a famous figure like Jacques Cartier, Michelangelo, Magellan, and Nicolaus Copernicus. Their creative presentations brought these historical figures to life and showed a deep understanding of how the Renaissance shaped the modern world. Well done! #WeloveFASNY
Recently, our 6th grade students participated in a Climate Collage (Fresque du climate). The fun, interactive, and creative workshop allows students to learn about the causes and consequences of climate change and how they can make an impact on protecting our Earth. Well done to our students, and thank you to our PTA Go Green Committee for their help! #WeloveFASNY
Recently, our second graders have been learning about Swiss artist Caroline Vyzas. Thanks to the magic of virtual learning, last week they had the opportunity to meet Caroline, learn about her process, ask engaging questions, and show her their original works inspired by her pieces. Thank you, Caroline, for taking the time to meet our young artists 🎨🖌️! #WeloveFASNY
