  at Lyons Road\, and then proceed to Davis Park. Children interested in pa
 rticipating in the parade can dress in patriotic costume or decorate their
  bicycles\, tricycles\, wagons or strollers with patriotic decorations. Pe
 ts are also encouraged to dress in patriotic costumes. <br /><br />For tho
 se families that plan to build floats for the July 4th parade\, this year 
 the judges will award extra points to those floats that include U.S. patri
 otic themes and are constructed using “homemade” rather than prefabricated
  materials. For example\, more points will be awarded for hand painted des
 igns on the floats than designs that are commercially available. The celeb
 ration continues at Davis Park with a ceremony\, comments from Village off
 icials\, and awards for parade participants in all of the traditional para

 nts have been enjoying the popular Bicycle Sundays program. It opens a 6.5
 -mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway to bicyclists\, skaters\
 , joggers\, and walkers on a series of Sundays throughout the warmer weath
 er months each year. Bicycle Sundays is one of Westchester’s longest-runni
 ng and popular recreational programs.</p>\n<p>Event Information<br />The s

 -Presbyterian Westchester and Con Edison\, with Danny’s Cycles as the offi
 cial Bicycle Sponsor.</p>\n<p>During Bicycle Sundays\, the parkway is open
  exclusively to non-motorized bicyclists\, scooters and in-line skaters\, 
 e-bike class 1 only\, plus walkers and joggers. Many points of entry and e
 xit are along the way. from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Ex
 it 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. The round-trip distance is 13 miles. Th
 e road is closed to automobiles in that stretch of parkway. Admission is f
 ree and free parking will be available in the East Lot at the Westchester 
 County Center.</p>
