\nJennifer Manocherian has had almost more careers than a cat has lives. She has worked in public relati ons\, as a family therapist\, divorce mediator\, theater producer\, musica l book writer\, screenwriter and now novelist. A longtime Scarsdale reside nt\, she is married with five children\, fifteen grandchildren\, and three great grandchildren. And No One Knew is her second novel.

The Arthur Manor Neighborhoo
d Association will hold its 98th Annual July 4th parade and ceremony on Sa
turday\, July 4th.
The lineup for the parade will begin at 9:1
5 am at the corner of Bell and Sprague Roads and the parade will start pro
mptly at 9:45 am. The parade will then march down Sprague Road\, turn left
at Lyons Road\, and then proceed to Davis Park. Children interested in pa
rticipating in the parade can dress in patriotic costume or decorate their
bicycles\, tricycles\, wagons or strollers with patriotic decorations. Pe
ts are also encouraged to dress in patriotic costumes.
For tho
se families that plan to build floats for the July 4th parade\, this year
the judges will award extra points to those floats that include U.S. patri
otic themes and are constructed using “homemade” rather than prefabricated
materials. For example\, more points will be awarded for hand painted des
igns on the floats than designs that are commercially available. The celeb
ration continues at Davis Park with a ceremony\, comments from Village off
icials\, and awards for parade participants in all of the traditional para
de categories.
Following the ceremony\, the Association will h
old the annual field games – including the egg toss at the end! Hot dogs\,
bottled water and other food and refreshments will be available for purch
ase. The Association encourages everyone to come out this year and celebra
