\nPresenter BiographyJordan Copeland is the Scarsdale Village His
torian and Vice President of the Scarsdale Historical Society. He conducts
original historical research and has contributed to documentary projects
and public presentations. His work includes the development of walking tou
rs of downtown Scarsdale and Arthur Manor\, educational YouTube videos\, a
nd history programs for school groups.
His previous presentations include A History of Black People i n Scarsdale\, How Scarsdale Became Scarsdale\, and Solved! The Mystery of Scarsdale’s 1840 Population Decline. He is also a musician and was formerl y an elementary school teacher and an attorney.
