Procedure Committee Announces Results of Citizens Nominating Committee Election

The results are in from the Citizens Nominating Committee election held on Tuesday November 9, for the first time at the new Scarsdale Library.
A total of 254 votes were cast, 209 in person and 45 via mail-in ballots. Below are the names of the candidates who won, and the number of votes cast in each district.
Madelaine Eppenstein, Chair of the Procedure Committee that ran the election explained, “Each year the Procedure Committee is asked for vote totals for individual candidates. Whether the request is from voters, candidates, residents generally or media, the Non-Partisan Resolution prohibits disclosure of both the names of candidates who fell short and the number of votes per candidate. The PC reports only the gross number of voters and total votes by Election Unit.
