Downsizing Done Right at Scarsdale Library

The downsizing process is not just logistically daunting; it can also be emotionally draining. Join organizer and home advisor Emily Baldwin for a thoughtful look at what a well-planned downsizing process might entail. Whether you are a retiree, an adult considering moving out from your parents, or simply helping a friend, this presentation will show how a mindful approach to the objects of one's life can strengthen intergenerational bonds even as some long-time possessions are let go. Decluttering need not be a source of conflict - it can be a shared project that empowers everyone in the family. There will be time for questions and answers at the end.
