My Sisters’ Place (MSP) will host its annual Spring Benefit fundraiser on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 6:30 pm at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY.
MSP is honoring Suzanne Seiden, a long-standing member of the MSP Board of Directors and an ardent supporter of MSP who is deeply engaged with its mission, executive leadership and staff. Suzanne never misses an opportunity to engage community in the work of My Sisters’ Place, creating impactful campaigns that bring awareness and financial support to the many critical programs MSP offers to thousands of survivors each year.
Says Ms. Seiden, “It is a privilege to be part of the MSP family; I am in awe of the work that the amazing staff does every day to make a positive difference in the lives of survivors.”
MSP will also be honoring the New York Football Giants and their collaboration, Giant Steps through Athletics, a holistic, youth-led prevention program that promotes health and wellness by providing student athletes and their coaches with the tools they need to effectively promote healthy relationships in their communities.
My Sisters’ Place is a community-based nonprofit serving individuals in Westchester County, NY and the surrounding region, that is striving to end domestic violence and human trafficking through comprehensive victim services, advocacy, and community education.
MSP’s mission is to create a world in which every individual has the basic human right to be free from gender-based violence and to engage in relationships that embrace the principles of respect, equality, and safety. MSP serves vulnerable clients of all backgrounds, providing multi-lingual and culturally sensitive victim-centered and trauma-informed legal and supportive services to meet each client’s needs. In 2022, MSP staff reached over 2,200 students at 50 schools and community groups through educational programs, and provided nearly 3,000 sessions of counseling and clinical therapy to adult and child survivors.
