Flag Football Team is On To the State Playoffs

The Scarsdale team is all smiles as time expires.The Scarsdale flag football team delivered a dominant performance to secure the Section 1 Class A Championship on May 24 at Lakeland High School. With strong efforts on both sides of the ball, the Raiders jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 41–7 win over Arlington High School.
With the victory, Scarsdale advances to the state playoffs, where they will face the winner of Elmira and Middletown. That game is scheduled for Friday, May 31 at Tappan Zee High School, as the Raiders look to continue their impressive postseason run.
Assistant Coach Melissa Genovese said, "We are incredibly proud of our team's performance in the sectional championship against Arlington. The players demonstrated outstanding teamwork, discipline, and determination from start to finish. This victory is a testament to their hard work and preparation throughout the season. We look forward to building on this momentum as we advance to regionals on Saturday, May31st."
