An Afternoon of Jazz at Scarsdale Library

Join SPL Librarian and musician Cameron Felix Dahl on the library lawn for an afternoon of jazz and autumn fun!Enjoy a medley of original piano arrangements of spooky movie themes, jazz standards, and popular songs from the 20th century that capture the spirit of the autumn season and Halloween.

Cameron Felix Dahl is a Connecticut-based composer, arranger and pianist originally from Buffalo, NY. He received his Bachelor of Music in Composition from Brooklyn College in 2019. Cameron has written works for solo piano, piano with electronics, and classical and jazz ensembles. His music is influenced by impressionism, minimalism and modern jazz, and he enjoys creating jazz-infused arrangements of songs from many genres.

Refreshments will be served, including warm pretzels and apple cider donuts, along with beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages.
