Down To Earth Farmer's Market in Scarsdale Village (Sun. 1 Jun, 2025 9:00 am - 2:00 pm)

Down to Earth  Markets is running a farmer's market in Scarsdale Village on Sundays from 9 - 2 pm from now until Thanksgiving.

Here are some featured vendors for this week:

Caradonna Farms, our flagship fruit vendor, returns to the market. They are a fourth-generation family grower of fruit and vegetables producing stone fruit, apples, berries and vegetables on 200 acres. Owner and farmer Skye Caradonna loves to experiment and follows agricultural developments around the world to learn about new varietals and better ways of growing fruit. The farm cultivates a diversity of fruit including strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, melons and grapes. They currently produce 38 varieties of apples, many of them unusual.

We'll have a range of baked goods vendors on hand, including returning vendor It Must Have Been the Bake. They are a made-to-order, small-batch, home cookie baker.|

Strawberry season is here finally so shoppers can find the first blush of berries on offer at the farmstalls. Rhubarb is also available for home bakers looking to whip up a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie or compote.

On the crafts front, AccentsByAl will be in the market for the first time. AccentsbyAl handcrafts polymer clay and metal jewelry. Their accessories are lightweight, comfortable statement pieces available at comfortable, affordable prices. Everything they create is made locally with love and inspiration!

The Village of Scarsdale will issue a proclamation about National Gun Violence Awareness on Friday June 6 at 2 pm at Village Hall. The Westchester Chapter of Moms Demand Action for gun sense in America and Scarsdale Village will renew their commitment to reduce gun violence and pledge to do all we can to keep firearms out of the hands of people who should not have access to them and encourage responsible gun ownership to help keep our families and communities safe.
