Two Undefeated Flag Football Teams Meet and Tappan Zee Comes Out on Top

Scarsdale players celebrate Eliza Wechsler’s touchdown.The Scarsdale High School Varsity Girls Flag Football Team hosted Tappan Zee at Butler Field on Thursday, April 10th, in a matchup that had all the makings of a marquee early-season game. Both teams entered undefeated — Scarsdale at 2-0 and Tappan Zee at 3-0 — but it was the visitors who dominated the game throughout and took away a 32–12 victory.

The Raiders will try to bounce back quickly; they return to Butler Field on Monday, April 13th, to face Clarkstown, a combined squad drawing players from both Clarkstown North and Clarkstown South.
