Stolen: Contractors' tools were stolen from an Elm Rd. job site July 6.
Scam
A Brittany Close resident reported that he was sold a fake iPhone in a scam July 10.
Harassment
On July 6, a Chateaux Circle resident reported that her landlord shoved her while the landlord was in the apartment reviewing reported damages. The landlord allegedly made contact with the resident as the two were in the threshold of a doorway. No injuries were reported.
Domestic matters
On July 8, an employee of the food court at the Scarsdale Pool reported an incident with his estranged father. The two have allegedly been estranged for two years, but the son still uses a car owned by the father for daily transportation. The father came to the food court to tell the son that the car registration was expiring and asked for the keys to resolve the matter. The son refused, and food court management asked the father to leave. Police checked the car's status and learned that the registration actually expires in Aug. 2028.
A Church Lane man asked police to tell his ex-wife to refrain from coming inside the house when she dropped off the couple's children July 8.
Help
Police observed a man without shoes walking on Walworth Ave July 10. Police asked if he eeded assistance. He asked to go to the hospital. Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps was notified and drove him to the hospital.
Branches
On July 6, police notified the highway department to remove a fallen branch from a Ridgecrest North lawn. The branch fell from a Village tree.
Cars and roadways
Police notified Verizon about fallen wires on Barry Rd. July 6, Drake Rd. July 7 and Wayside Lane July 11.
Police notified the highway department about a fallen tree on Sprague Rd. July 6.
On July 9, police asked construction workers to park their cars in a way that did not impede traffic flow.
A driver ran out of gas on Post Rd. July 9. Police stood by while the driver went to get gas.

Missing car
On July 11, a Willow Rd. resident reported her car was missing from her driveway. When police arrived, the resident said she thought the car might be at Fenway Golf Club, stating that she forgot she had left the car in the parking lot earlier that day and instead got a ride home. Police drove the resident to the parking lot where she picked up her car.
Civil matter
A painting company was accused of taking a Normandy Lane resident's garbage can July 6. The company agreed to return the can.
On July 6, a Murray Hill Rd. A resident reported that UPS did not deliver a package. It contained an item purchased from a private seller for $3,150. UPS was notified and the rep did not know why the package was not delivered, the resident said.
Police mediated a dispute between a Sheldrake Rd. resident and an in-home health aide July 7. A new aide was organized to arrive and replace the existing aide. When the new aide arrived, the resident called again to report someone was attempting to enter her house. Police called the resident's son to sort out the matter, due to the resident's confusion.
A Christie Place resident with memory issues was having a dispute with a home health aide July 10. Patrol and a family member mediated the dispute.
Bear
A black bear was spotted in a Brewster Rd. yard July 7.
Dogs
On July 10, a woman allegedly yelled at a man with two dogs on Roosevelt Place. Police arrived and mediated the dispute over the animals.
Deer
A small deer was stuck in a Heathcote Rd. fence July 11. Police helped the animal get free so it could be on its way.
Lost and found
A driver reported losing a license plate in the Village July 10.
A passerby found a cell phone on Popham Rd. July 11. Police returned the phone to its owner.
Firefighters
Firefighters notified Con Edison about a tree limb on wires on Vernon Rd. and a broken utility pole on Edgewood Rd. July 6.
Boxes were burning due to discarded sparklers on Carthage Rd. July 7. Firefighters extinguished the fire, and the area was deemed to be safe.
Firefighters assisted at a car accident on Hutchinson River Parkway July 7.
Keys were locked inside a car on Butler Rd. July 8. Firefighters gained entry to retrieve the keys.
Firefighters assisted with a leaking hot water heater on Seneca Rd. and advised to call a plumber July 10.
A gas leak was detected in a Lincoln Rd. kitchen July 10. Firefighters isolated the leak and stood by for Con Edison.
A car accidentally left running in a Manor Lane garage emitted carbon monoxide inside the garage and house July 11. Firefighters made sure the car was off and ventilated the spaces until safe levels returned.
