Police Report: Partying Pelham Teen Arrested for Trespassing in Woods Lane House

Arrested: On Aug. 2, around 1 a.m., police arrested Lorenzo Barbieri, 18, of Pelham, on charges of trespassing. He is accused of entering a vacant house on Woods Lane and participating in a youth party. He was found on the scene with a backpack and a music speaker.

Identity theft
On July 28, a Sheldrake Rd. man reported that someone in Massachusetts opened a fraudulent LLC in his name.

Graffiti
Graffiti was spray-painted on the side of a white pump house shed on Taunton Rd. July 28.

Break-ins
On July 28, a landlord provided police with video footage of someone breaking into a vacant apartment on East Parkway.

On Aug. 2, people wearing ski masks broke into a parked car on Berwick Rd., according to the car owner. The car was tossed, but nothing was reported stolen.

An Oak Lane resident reported that someone broke into cars parked in his driveway around 3:30 a.m., July 2. The resident's security camera alerted them to motion in the driveway. Upon reviewing the camera footage, it was observed that a white SUV stopped in front of the driveway. An unknown male, wearing all black, exited the front passenger side of the vehicle ran to the resident's parked vehicle, pulled on the driver's side door handle, opened the door and checked the center console. The unknown male then returned to the SUV. The resident said that nothing appeared to be missing.

On July 2, a Berwick Rd. resident reported that a car was broken into in her driveway. Nothing was taken.

Suspicious
On July 27, two white middle-aged women walked up a Greenacres Ave. driveway to a house. The homeowner confronted the women who said they walked the wrong way and ended up on the driveway by mistake. The homeowner thought it was suspicious and reported the matter to the police.

On July 31, a Rectory Ln. resident thought he received two suspicious packages that seemed to be making an unknown noise. Patrol

Patrol examined the purchase on the party's mobile phone and later determined that the suspicious noise was coming from an animal sensor at the residence across the street. Patrol then examined the packages and confirmed that all was in good order.

Welfare check
Police checked the welfare of a Secor Rd. resident at the request of a sister who suffers from anxiety when she does not hear from the resident July 31.
Police checked the welfare of a Boulevard resident at the request of a concerned family member Aug. 1.

Vehicle and traffic arrest
On July 27, police arrested Marius Orlinis, 57, of Norwalk, Connecticut, on charges of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign, following a traffic stop. He was released on his own recognizance.

On Aug. 3, police arrested Kennett Figueroa Molina, 23, of Mamaroneck, on charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on his own recognizance.

Cars and roadways
On July 27, a motorist ran out of gas on Garden Rd. Police provided the motorist with gasoline.
A tree branch was removed from Popham Rd. July 29.
Con Edison and the highway department addressed a fallen tree into wires on Saxon Woods Rd. July 29.
Police tied up a dangling rope on Brayton Rd. July 31.
Police notified the highway department about a fallen tree on Brewster Rd. Aug. 1.
This week, police conducted traffic stops and issued summonses to five drivers with registration and licensing violations.
One car accident was recorded in the Village this week.

Homeless person
Police twice dispersed a homeless man sleeping on a Harwood Rd. sidewalk July 28.

Animals
The highway department removed a dead raccoon from Heathcote Rd. fields July 27.
A leashed dog was walking on a Roosevelt Place field Aug. 3. Police advised the resident to keep dogs off the field.

Village code
Police spoke with a Hampton Rd. resident after neighbors complained of noise after midnight July 28. The resident was having a party, apologized and lowered the volume of music.
Police removed and discarded illegally placed signs on Heathcote Rd. July 28 and Mamaroneck Rd. July 30 and Rock Creek Lane Aug. 3.
