Rachel KrisberghScarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service (SFCS) is proud to announce the recipients of its prestigious 2025 awards: the annual Rising Star Award and the newly established Guiding Star Award. The Rising Star Award celebrates emerging leaders in the Scarsdale community who exemplify dedication, impactful service, and active volunteerism. This year’s honoree, Rachel Krisbergh, has distinguished herself through her outstanding leadership and contributions to numerous Scarsdale organizations, reflecting a deep commitment to fostering community growth and engagement.
In addition, SFCS is thrilled to introduce the Guiding Star Award, designed to honor those who have made a sustained, transformative impact within the community. The inaugural recipient, Maryellen Saenger, is recognized for her steadfast leadership within SFCS, particularly through her dedication to the Aging in Place program. MaryEllen’s efforts have significantly enhanced the lives of many residents, embodying the spirit of volunteerism and service in both Scarsdale and Edgemont.
Both awards will be presented at the SFCS 2025 Annual Benefit Gala on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Scarsdale Golf Club.
