Scarecrow Hay Day at the Scarsdale Pool

Beautiful fall weather brought out enthusiastic Scarsdale families to enjoy Fall Scarecrow Making Hayday at the Scarsdale Pool on Saturday October 5th.

About 300 participants arrived with old clothing, hats and scarves to build a scarecrow with the straw provided by the Recreation Department.

After they built their scarecrows, kids enjoyed learning about animals provided by the Weinberg Nature Center, along with face painting, crafts and a DJ.
