The Scarsdale pollinator garden at Boniface Circle in the Village Center is in full bloom. Designed by the Friends of the Scarsdale Parks (FOSP) and installed by Village staff three years ago, this demonstration garden shows residents how native plants that evolved in this region and best support our local birds and insects also produce spectacular blooms.

FOSP is a Scarsdale community based non-profit that seeks to improve our local parks and green spaces. FOSP also advises the Village on the Village Street Tree Program tasked with planting new trees along our streets to provide shade, oxygen, carbon storage, clean air, floodwater absorption, and increased property values.

If you are interested in volunteering in our parks or would like your front yard evaluated for possible street tree planting, contact Madelaine Eppenstein ([email protected])
or Cynthia Roberts ([email protected]).
