Scarsdale Girl Scouts Chat with Congressman Latimer

On September 28. 2025, Girl Scout Troop #2688 hosted a talkback with Congressman George Latimer and asked questions about local and federal affairs. The girls engaged the Congressman in areas including: revised tariff regulations; ICE initiatives nationwide; the future of the environment and how to protect the county from deregulation.

It was an engaging and empowering evening. The girls created a special thank you gift for Congressman Latimer with items that picturing inspiring phrases including a Juliette Gordon Lowe commemorative coin.
