Scarecrows, Crafts and Fall Fun at Scarsdale Pool

45 families turned out on Saturday October 3 for a day of scarecrow building and fall fun at the Scarsdale Pool. Families arrived with clothing and accessories to build their own hay men and women -- with straw, pantyhose and string supplied by the Recreation Department.

In addition to building 47 scarecrows, families enjoyed a host of activities including face painting, tatoos, line dancing and a DJ, arts and crafts and animal exhibit from the Weinberg Nature Center. There were giveaways and raffled items too.

Beautiful weather made the day even more fun!
