Scarsdale 10U Travel Softball Team Caps Perfect Season with Championship Win

The Scarsdale 10U Travel Softball Summer League team finished their season in historic fashion, going undefeated with a perfect 15-0 record and securing the Greater Hudson Valley Softball League championship.

The title game, played on August 10th in Wappingers Falls, NY capped off a summer of dominant play, teamwork and dedication. From the first pitch of the season to the final out in the championship, the Scarsdale girls showcased skills, resilience and a deep love for the game.

Led by head coaches Dave & Nick Scagnelli, a dedicated father-and-son coaching duo, the team battled against tough opponents from across the Greater Hudson Valley region, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship. The roster of talented players includes: Ashlynn Sipprelle, Avery Feldman, Clara Bliss, Eleanor Bliss, Jenna Felice, Madeline Cronin, Madeline McDermott, Mary Nietupski, Mikayla Mulvey, Penelope Homan, Samantha Homan, Simran Dhiman, Sofia Paniccia and Sonya Rosenblatt.

The victory in Wappingers Falls marks the culmination of months of training, practices and game play. With championship medals in hand and an undefeated record in the books, the Scarsdale 10U team has set the bar high for seasons to come.
