A Glamourous Event to Support the Junior League

jlcw3-14bThe Junior League of Central Westchester's (JLCW) Spring Fundraiser, Glitz & Glamour took place on Friday, March 28, 2014 and was truly a glamorous evening. The event was attended by over 270 people and raised funds to support the JLCW's programs that help improve the local community.

The evening was co-sponsored by Pepe Infiniti and 42 The Restaurant and was held at Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY. The evening included a cocktail reception, with passed hors d'oeuvres provided by Nikos Greek Taverna and dinner and dessert provided by 42 The Restaurant. Wine, beer and spirits were provided by 42 The Restaurant, William Rattner Somelier Selections, Slovenia Vodka, Domaine Select Wine Estates, Zachys and Caperberry Events. The evening featured an exciting silent auction and entertainment by the Music Conservatory of Westchester. Diana Gould generously donated the decorations for the entire event, and Londin Photography provided red carpet photos and other photography throughout the evening.


Some of the top items from the silent auction included a gorgeous diamond necklace generously donated by JLCW's Emerald Sponsor, Tiffany & Co. at the Westchester and a one-week stay in Captiva Island, Florida.


"Glitz & Glamour was an amazing evening and we are so grateful to our Crown Jewel Sponsors Pepe Infiniti and 42 The Restaurant for their generous donations", said Julie King, President of the Junior League of Central Westchester. "The funds raised for the JLCW will be incredibly helpful in our mission to improve the local community through charitable works."

Proceeds from Glitz & Glamour support the JLCW's programs that promote health and literacy, provide food and necessities to the underprivileged, empower low-income families, help preserve community history and train effective community volunteers. The JLCW is very grateful to all of its sponsors including Emerald Sponsors Tiffany & Co.at the Westchester and Neiman Marcus and Ruby Sponsors Sportime, Houlihan Lawrence, TD Bank, Simon Properties and American Airlines.
