Jessica Molaskey at the Scarsdale Library

molaskeyScarsdale is in for a wonderful free treat this weekend. Songstress Jessica Molaskey is coming to town, courtesy of The Friends of the Scarsdale Library who have invited Molaskey to present a FREE concert. Molaskey who has appeared on Broadway and often sings at pricey venues like the Carlisle and the Algonquin will be at the library at 4 pm on Sunday 11-24 and no reservations are required.

About Molasky, Stephen Holden of the NY Times said Jessica Molaskey is "a woman of formidable talent, impeccable taste and acute wit..." "Molaskey's Sitting in Limbo is a profound pop-jazz album that connects traditional American pop with the present in a way that has never been done before."

Molaskey is a singer of torch songs and show tunes who is a professional recording artist. She also appeared in a dozen Broadway shows and has premiered in theater pieces off Broadway and in regional theaters across the US.

The concert is part of the Swinging Sunday Concert Series Sunday, November 24th at 4pm. Admission is free and seating is limited.
