Cowboys and Skinners: Scarsdale and the American Revolution: Virtual from the Scarsdale Library
January 21, 2026, from 6:30- 7:30 pm: A virtual program from Scarsdale Public Libary
2026 marks the semiquincentennial, or 250th anniversary, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Did you know that at least two Scarsdale residents were present at the ratification of the Declaration that took place in White Plains on July 11th, 1776? While no major battles took place in Scarsdale during the Revolution, the War made its presence felt in many ways for the few residents of the rural farming town called Scarsdale.
Join Local History Librarian Dan Glauber to learn more about what life was like in Scarsdale during the American Revolution.
