The Bronx River Parkway will be closed for Bicycle Sunday from 8 am to 12 pm on September 8, 15, 22 and 29 and October 6, 2024.
Enjoy a ride on this 13 mile loop from Yonkers to the Westchester County Center.

Sunday Morning Adult Softball at Crossway #2 (Sun. 29 Sep, 2024 9:00 am - 10:00 am)
Players are invited to join an adult softball game which has been played for decades. Players 16 and older, male or female, are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings at Crossway Field #2 in Scarsdale for games which start shortly thereafter following a brief warm up and determination of our “pick-up” teams. We finish no later than noon, which is when our field permit expires. Games are friendly but competitive. Season runs from third week in April through October. Interested players should contact Jeff Rejan at jrejan@optonline.net or show up at the field.

The Alegria Ensemble at the Scarsdale Woman's Club (Tue. 1 Oct, 2024 2:00 am - 3:00 am)
The Alegria Ensemble will perform at the Scarsdale Woman's Club on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 2 pm. Previously known as the Balsam Trio, Alegría includes violinist Chloe Dickens, cellist Sara Strozzo and pianist Ricky Asher Moreira.

Behind Closed Doors: A Virtual Presentation on the Realities of Domestic Violence (Wed. 2 Oct, 2024 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)
The program will cover the 6- S's, or risk factors that align with lethality and will be presented by Darlene Reda, an attorney with the law firm of Della Jacono and Ross PLLC. Darlene is the former director of the Westchester County Family Justice Center and former deputy director for the Westchester County Office for Women.
The topic of domestic violence and the possibility of it resulting in homicide is admittedly a difficult topic to discuss, however it is a reality and educating the community is one of the best ways to prevent it from occurring. Darlene presented this program to the community last in 2018. Click here to join the presentation on Wednesday October 2 at noon.
