Raiders Hockey Team Meets Clarkstown at EJ Murray Skating Center

Sophomore defender Charley Wolf (8) goes after a loose puck.The Scarsdale Boys Ice Hockey team took on Clarkstown (a team of players from Clarkstown North and Clarkstown South high schools) in a home game at the E J Murray Memorial Skating Center in Yonkers NY on Friday Dec. 20. The game was hard fought and close for the first two periods. The Raiders then scored very early in the 3rd period on a power play to tie the game at 2. But Clarkstown responded quickly with back-to-back shorthanded goals and then capped it off with 2 meaningless goals at the end of the game to win 6-2. The Raiders are now off for the winter break and play their next game on Jan. 8th against the Rivertowns team.
