Additionally, a moped and miscellaneous items and tools were found to have been locked in a stairwell at the garage, on Village property, by an unknown party. Employees on scene stated they had not seen anyone with the items, and they further advised that the items had been present at the location for an extended period of time. It was also determined that an electrical cord had been plugged into a Village-owned electrical socket in the ceiling of the stairwell and run along the wall, down to the area in which the unknown party's items were being kept. The cord was plugged into a charger. The cord was said to have been unplugged at a previous date by the employees, and later it was plugged back in and secured via zip tie by the unknown party. Because the owner couldn't be identified, the items were photographed, removed and vouchered for safekeeping.
